︎︎︎ This is me, having a blast on the peak of Mt. Yotei with a camera. If you look closely, I’m covered in millions of bugs!
My name means “kind fruit” in Japanese, but I often think of myself as a chaotic tree—full of energy, curious for more, and enjoying all sorts of weather. I’d be the one running through a flower field during a rainstorm while everyone else stays cozy indoors, just as we were told to do as kids. My energy is fueled by your smiles, milk tea with honey, the boundless energy of my two younger sisters, and the comforting warmth of a good bowl of oden (Japanese hotpot).

I’ve lived in many places—Japan, New Zealand, Connecticut, and now Boston—and my roots are deeply intertwined with the new encounters and sentiments I’ve collected along the way. Nature has always been a source of connection for me, and I have a passion for capturing the fleeting, beautiful moments that often go unnoticed. It’s in the quiet details of the world around us that I find the most comfort—those small, overlooked moments that make us feel grounded, at ease, and alive.

Come explore with me and find the wonder in both the big and small things!
